Quartz Network: Connect HR - Future of DEI Panel Contribution
Context
As part of Quartz Network’s Connect HR event, I was invited to speak on a panel exploring the Future of DEI—a conversation aimed at senior HR and DEI leaders navigating an increasingly complex and evolving workplace landscape.
Approach
The panel brought together experienced practitioners to share insights, challenges, and provocations around the future of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. Mabinty spoke about the importance of moving beyond performative DEI and how to sustain meaningful progress amidst resistance, fatigue, and shifting priorities. I also highlighted the power of storytelling as a tool for culture change, the role of courageous leadership, and why inclusion must be embedded into everyday systems—not siloed as an initiative.
